It was an incredible experience to see the Columbus Blue Jackets play the Detroit Red Wings at Ohio Stadium. These are the two teams that I had seen play in the first game I saw at Nationwide Arena. There were so many familiar things throughout the night that harkened back to my first Jackets experience. Booooone Jenner was back in the lineup this week, after missing more than half the season to injury. He was there at the first game I attended at Nationwide Arena so many years ago. It was excellent being in the legendary stadium again – I hadn’t been back since I was at student of Ohio State. Coincidentally, I ran into the old college friend who I had gone with to that first Jackets game, as well. What an stunning experience the day was!
